..we drove.. and drove.. and drove..
...all the way to Pismo Beach. Thankfully we were rewarded with a fantastic room with a private balcony that opens out onto the Pacific.. must be all of 50yards of beach to the sea! Relieved to have escaped Vegas with out minds in one piece, we've just had a really great meal at an Italian place in the centre of Pismo Beach.. off to bed now, to be followed with a morning in the pool tomorrow, walks on the beach, and a very leisurely 3hr drive up highway-1 to Monterey.
